Healthcare

Department of Healthcare consists of Department of Medical Imaging Technology and Department of Medical Laboratory Technology which was established in the year 2023. Under the autonomy, department has made curriculum more industry oriented by including syllabus which are skill based and framed with the help of industry experts from Healthcare Industry.

The department focuses on enhancing the skills of students both technical and clinical which would help to create a trained healthcare workforce. Here the main aim to is to train students as per industry standards and make them ready for the competitive job world.

The department comprises of full time, part time and visiting faculties (industry experts) who help to imbibe greater aspects of knowledge in students.

Miss. Ankita Parab (Head)

She is an Assistant Professor and Head of the Department. She has joined in the year 2023 and has been teaching UG and PG programs from last 9 years. She has been teaching students in various Paramedical and Healthcare subjects under Medical Imaging, laboratory, operation theatre programs. She has been a key player in designing the UG and PG curriculum. She has also been conducting various programs in Geriatric care, CPR and First Aid. She has a vast knowledge on handling and managing the industry oriented on the job training-based programs.

 

Mr. Shailesh Kamble

He is an Assistant Professor for Medical Laboratory Technology. He has joined in the year 2023 and has been teaching UG and PG programs from last 8 years. He has been teaching students in various Paramedical subjects under Medical Laboratory Technology. He also has skills in handling operational works with dedication. He has played a key role in formulating the syllabus of UG and PG programs.

 

Dr. Atisha Kati

She is an Assistant Professor and has joined in the year 2023. She is a MBBS doctor practicing from last 13 years along with her expertise in teaching students and imparting knowledge regarding various healthcare subjects.

 

Mr. Sumit Kati

He is the Course Co-Ordinator for MLT and MIT programs. He has a vast industry experience of more than 17 years in various sectors. He has been associated in formulating, building, mentoring and coaching students, trainers in various aspects of his life. He has been the motivator behind running these programs.
